The Logan Records Digitisation Project
Scanning, cataloguing, and making accessible hundreds of historical documents relating to the Logan name across Scotland’s historic counties.
Current Project Status: Active
Across Scotland’s parish registers, estate records, and court documents lies a rich and largely untapped archive of Logan family history. Many of these records — some dating back to the 16th century — exist only in fragile physical form, held in local archives and private collections at risk of deterioration.
The Logan Records Digitisation Project aims to locate, scan, and catalogue as many of these documents as possible, creating a freely accessible digital archive for researchers, genealogists, and Logan descendants worldwide.
What your donation funds:
- High-resolution scanning of historical parish registers
- Professional cataloguing and metadata tagging
- Hosting and maintenance of the digital archive
- Travel costs for archive visits across Scotland
Project Goal: £3,500
